Return to Play fitness programme


As we hope for more information from the Government this week about the further easing of lockdown and graduated return of many sports across the country, HHC is pleased to offer our members a 12-week Return To Play fitness programme. The easy-to-follow programme has been funded through the Everyday Active Small Grants scheme from Kent Sport and Sports Directory UK and developed by Tom Archer, our Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Ladies 1XI, from Performance Elite.

The programme can be utilised by senior members, juniors, and parents alike. With one cardio and two strength sessions detailed for each week, members will have the opportunity to build a decent level of conditioning before returning to the pitch next season (however that may look). You should be considerate of your own current level of fitness, and tweak the programme as you see fit to ensure the greatest outcome.

Two instructional videos have been created to support members in understanding the programme, and Wales international and Ladies 1XI player Jo Westwood demonstrates the exercises.  Please download the programme and watch the videos below.
