Holcombe Team of the Week – 25th November, 2023

Goalkeeper:

Eddie Rowney (M3s) – made a number of world-class saves

Defence:

Maddie Wellings (W3s) – player of the match.

Lottie Osborne (W4s) – player of the match with some crucial tackles.

Harvey Boyle (M3s) – player of the match.

Amelia Allen (W5s) – player of the match.

Midfield:

Gaby Hull (W5s) – another good performance, great work ethic and positioning.

Jakob Shardlow (Harriers) – often doesn’t get the credit he deserves but came down to a new team, in a different formation and put in a great shift.

Kerry Searle (W4s) – scored as the 4s earned their first win of the season!

Ben Spackman (M2s) – player of the match for the 2s on his debut for scoring a goal and getting an assist.

Forwards:

Ollie Simpson (Hurricanes) – player of the match, scored a hat-trick.

Flo Wood (W2s) – player of the match.

Substitutes:

George Cook (Heroes) – player of the match.

Phoebe Steele (W1s) – scored twice in a 5-1 win over Wimbledon 2s.

Margot Moriarty (W3s) – excellent performance.

Amrit Singh (Harriers) – player of the match.

Joe May (M5s) – player of the match.

Rehan Malik (Heroes) – his best game for the Heroes.

Beth Rye (W4s) – strong display for the 4s.

Umpires:

Mark Foakes – umpired three matches over the weekend including two on Sunday.

Rich Spackman – umpired and played on Saturday then umpired a junior game on Sunday.
