Holcombe men have confirmed the signing of Louis Duprez, who re-joins the club from Beeston.
Duprez is no stranger to Holcombe Park having spent time with the club prior to a spell abroad and time with Premier Division competitors Beeston, and harbours hopes of making the French senior squad for a home Olympics this summer.
He will be facing up against another of his former clubs in the Euro Hockey League in October, with Holcombe pitted against Racing Club de France in the KO16 round in Barcelona.
Head coach Barry Middleton said: “Louis is a player we know well from his time at the club in the past. His energy and enthusiasm are infectious for any group he is a part of. He also has great quality in both attack and defence and is another brilliant addition to the squad.”
Holcombe begin their campaign with a home match against Reading on Saturday at 6pm – entry is free.
