Holcombe are aiming for their fourth win in five Premier Division matches as they prepare to take on Oxted on Saturday evening at 6pm.
Barry Middleton’s side sit in third in the Premier Division with three wins over Reading, Southgate and Surbiton in their first four matches, only losing to reigning champions Old Georgians.
Oxted, meanwhile, started with a 3-2 win at East Grinstead, since losing to Wimbledon and Hampstead & Westminster as well as drawing with Cardiff & Met, leaving them ninth.
The two sides met just once last season in Phase One as Oxted ran out 4-3 winners, with Holcombe’s goals coming from Tom Russell, Phil Roper and Nick Bandurak.
Those three were all on the scoresheet in Holcombe’s EHL KO16 match against Racing Club de France last Friday, taking Russell’s tally to two for the season while Bandurak (seven) and Roper (six) have scored 13 between them in just six matches in all competitions in 2023/24.
Entry is free for the clash with Oxted on Saturday, while live updates will also be provided on our social media channels.
