Rhodri Furlong has been named in the Wales squad for the upcoming EuroHockey Championships, where Daniel Newcombe’s side will take on France, the Netherlands and hosts Germany in Pool B.
Newcombe said: “I am proud to announce the squad that will represent Wales in at the 2023 EuroHockey Championships in Mönchengladbach.
“The opportunity to compete in our third EuroHockey Championships in succession and continue to compete with the European elite is one that we will relish and lean into as a group.
“There is always something special about a EuroHockey tournament and I am excited to see us continue to set the bar. The squad has a wealth of tournament experience and ready to put another marker down.”
Schedule:
19th August (5pm UK time) – Wales vs. Germany
21st August (2:30pm UK time) – Wales vs. France
23rd August (4:15pm UK time) – Wales vs. the Netherlands
