Femi Owolade-Coombes was involved for Whitgift School as they won the Super 6s Under-18 Boys’ Schools’ Finals 2023/24 on Thursday.
Owolade-Coombes, who has made two first-team appearances this season, played in all five of Whitgift’s matches, scoring five goals in the process.
Whitgift beat Caterham School (3-1) and Altrincham Grammar (6-0) in Pool A, and drew 1-1 with Repton to set-up a semi-final clash with Ipswich School, which Karl Stagno’s side won 3-2.
Semi-final victory against the East Anglian school set up another tie against Repton, Whitgift this time running out 3-1 winners courtesy of goals from Louis Jordan, Jake Bennett and Owolade-Coombes.
