Congratulations to M1s’ vice-captain Rob Field who has been nominated for the International Player of the Year award (sponsored by QTV) at the Scottish Hockey Awards alongside Lee Morton and Andrew McConnell.
Field has scored two goals so far this season with our M1s sat third in the Premier Division table at the end of Phase One.
The Scottish Hockey Awards will be held to celebrate and honour the successes of clubs, players, volunteers and officials across Scotland.
The ceremony will take place at the Village Hotel in Glasgow on Thursday, 1st February, 2024, and be hosted by award winning stand-up comedian Susie McCabe.
The night will have a fantastic three course meal, with a drink on arrival and wine on the table, and includes prizes, an auction, and entertainment. Tickets for this fantastic night of celebration are now available here at £75 a ticket, or £700 for a table of ten.
Full details and nominees are available here. You can vote here.
The 29-year-old has 26 caps for his country and has scored one goal.
With Holcombe’s next action coming in the Super 6s Premier Division, Field is one shy of 50 competitive indoor appearances for Holcombe and last season scored 11 goals in eight Super 6s Premier Division matches as Barry Middleton’s side finished sixth in the indoor top-flight.
